Mary had a little lamb

Mary had a little lamb,
It's fleece was white as snow;
And everywhere that Mary went
The lamb was sure to go.

He followed her to school one day
Which was against the rule;
It made the children laugh and play,
To see a lamb at school.

And so the teacher turned him out,
But still he lingered near;
And waited patiently about
Till Mary did appear

"What makes the lamb love Mary so?"
The eager chldren cry;
"Why, Mary loves the lamb, you know,"
The teacher did reply.

A girl named Mary owned a little lamb whose color was white as snow.  The lamb went out everywhere with Mary.  One day Mary went to school with the lamb. The children at school enjoyed playing with the lamb. Because the school’s regulation did not allow animal inside, the teacher had to turn the lamb out. However, the lamb did not go out anywhere far. He still lingered around the school and waited for Mary until she finished her classes. The children and the teacher all understood that Mary and the lamb loved each other.
